About Me

My photo
Australia
Hello. Welcome to my blog. You can call me whatever you like: Aliskevo, A, etc etc. If you are wondering why my blog is all black and white it's not because i'm emo or goth or whatever, its because if i get a new skin or similar, the whole layout goes out the window. I'm into manga, drawing, photography, books (and lots of them), PS3 and mush more stuff. I keep this blog as a diary of my life, and writing down my thoughts... so enjoy! -A

Pacman

I saw this article on GamesRadar.com about Pac-man, and thought it was so funny! Here is a snippet:

"Pac-Man's got to be right up there with Mario as one of the most recognisable videogame characters of all time. And because his basic design is simple, you can see him everywhere. Whenever you take a slice of pizza or cut a segment from a cake, he's there. Then the noise starts to go in your head: waka waka waka waka waka…

But it doesn't stop there. Turns out he's everywhere. And once you start looking for him, you'll see him in the most unlikely locations."

This couple's blissfully unaware of the peril they're in

Once you see it, the picture's never the same again

No! Not the Arndale Centre!

Clue - look at the top-left. Evil blue Pac-Man strikes again
... Funny eh? There are heaps more, just go to the website! Or, if you are too lazy: http://www.gamesradar.com/f/65-things-that-look-like-pac-man/a-20080627103626864015

Part Two

Part two... enjoy!

I was awake, but my eyes were closed. I know someone was in the room.

Luckily, I always put my supplies in my backpack, not leaving them around, and put the backpack in reach of my bed, for just these occasions.

I tensed up, ready to spring out the door.

"Hey, I think she's waking up"

Great I thought there's more than one.

"Quick! Get Mike…" They said in loud whispers.

I had to blow this joint. And fast.

Then I had an idea.

'I might as well freak them out, while I'm going'

My eyes opened.

'Shit!' Its awake! One person said

I jumped out of the bed, pulling two guns out from under my pillow, I whipped out my grey and black tipped wings. With a gun in each hand, and wings out, I looked pretty menacing (as you could imagine). I noticed there was five people in my small room, damn.

'The Hybrid is armed!'

'No duh', I said in a cold voice. 'Now, I could kill all of you, in about – I paused – less than four seconds.

The men looked horrified for a few seconds.

'Now, if you would be so kind to step away from the door, I might not have to.'

They shuffled away from the door, looking worriedly at me.

I picked up my back-pack, put on my long black coat, and walked to the door.

When I reached to door, I paused. I turned to one of the men who was wearing black sunnies. I liked them, so I took them off him, and put them on myself.

'Nice sunnies mate.'

I walked out the door and flew up into the sky, feeling pleased with myself.

I was flying roughly north-east, towards Sydney. The place where I grew up (sort of), and the place where a branch of my 'organization' is. We call these branches 'Lairs', but only people who are in the organization call them Lairs. There are quite a few Lairs around the world, for example: Canada, USA, Japan, Bali, etc.

The bad thing about this is that I have to fly all over the place. Now your probably thinking, 'So? You have wings don't you!?' Well my friend, I'd like to see you fly from Australia to America. So I have to take an air-ship (*huge plane-like 'spaceships'*) instead, and that is not a pleasant experience for a Hybrid. Some humans (like the ones before) are very against us. People stay away from our kind though; they are scared of us, especially me, even though I am only fifteen. Ha ha.

I pulled out my sleek mobile and called my boss.

'Sir, the computer-hacker has been taken care of.' I said in a emotionless voice.

'Excellent Taemi,' He replied in a bored voice, 'Return to the Lair immediately for your next job.'

He hung up.

I put the mobile back in my backpack (with a bit of difficulty) while flying, I didn't want to stop until night-time.

(A day later)

6:23pm

I stood on a small cliff, looking over the harbor toward the city of Sydney.

It was getting late, and I had had my rest. I had to get to the Lair soon, for my new 'mission'.

My long jacket whipped around my feet as a gust of cold autumn wind blew by. I looked down the cliff, and jumped with my arms crossed over my chest, and my dark wings out.

Off to my Lair.

FOTA

Yeah, i have been writing a story on Deviant art, and i thought i might just post it on here... Enjoy!

Prologue

Lightning flashed against the dark purple sky, as I walked slowly and calmly into a small cave in the middle of the desert. It was no ordinary cave though; it had electricity: A small fridge leaned against the left wall of the cave and some file cabinets on the opposite wall. On the back end of the cave was a computer glowing. And in the centre of the cave was my prey: a young man dressed in black. He was about nineteen years old.
"You took your time" He said in a sarcastic voice. "I knew your kind will be along soon…But no girl can kill me."
I sighed and closed the gap between us.
"You jack-ass, I said calmly to the young man, "You really think you can get away from death by insulting the person who is about to send you to hell? Well, my friend… you were wrong."
A hidden blade appeared out from under my sleeve, and I slid the blade into his throat. His eyes widened when the knife went in.
He coughed up blood onto the floor, and fell to his knees.
He raised a hand to his throat, as if he was trying to stop the blood gushing out. His eyes rolled back into his head.
He never opened them again.

I leaned down and I cleaned the bloody blade on the youth's shirt. My work is done for tonight.
I am an assassin; it is my job to kill, even though I am only fifteen. Don't ask me how I got the job, it is a long and complicated story. There is something else about me more shocking though… I am a human hybrid. Part human, part bird.
I ran to the edge of the cave, and leaped into the stormy air, my wings bursting from my back..
I liked to think of myself as the Angel of Death. Funny really.
My short paper-white hair whipped my face as I rose into the stormy sky. Strange. A storm in the desert doesn't have rain most of the time.
I flew north.
… By the way, my name in Taemi.

Chapter One
16/4/2024

It was about one in the morning when I had left the cave, and about 3:30 when the desert had gone from sight. I doubt someone would find the body of my victim; it was in the middle of a desert, in the middle of Australia.
I glided along an air current. I would soon hit a town, in about twenty minutes or so. I knew this because we Assassins always observe the area in which the prey is stationed. Of course, not all Assassins have wings; I do because of the new 'DNA Transplants in Humans' research… I was born with these wings. Not all mothers choose to do it… but mine obviously did. There are about 55 people in Australia and America alone who have the Transplants, and only a few have wings. Some have claws, and even gills.
Excellent; I had reached the small town.
I half-folded my wings, and went into a steep dive. I flared my wings before I hit the sandy-red ground, and landed on my feet. I had landed just behind a motel inn… how convenient.
I walked a few paces to the next window, and peered inside. No one there… perfect. And the window was unlocked.
Strange… I thought to myself. I would of thought the owners might of locked these window… Oh well.
I opened the window cautiously, in case of alarms. I opened the window and…
Nothing. Not a sound.
'Well, maybe I am lucky tonight' I thought to myself.
I slipped through the window like a shadow and walked quietly through the room. I didn't want to wake anyone, seeing as it is – I glanced at my watch – 3:40 am.

I didn't bother in changing into my sleeping gear; if I was attacked I had to be ready to fly. I did have a shower though (after convincing myself for about an hour), god it was nice.
After my fantastic shower, I had a dinner out of the stuff in the mini bar (making sure not to eat all of it – I needed supplies), it wasn't much, but it was enough to last me a day or two.
Sighing, I slouched off to my motel bed.

... can't think of a name for this post

...yeah, I know i haven't posted in ages, but, you know, its the holidays! My social life has been in the way. Anyway-
My friend Em was over yesterday, and we were bored so we watched a bunch of Fruits Basket episodes through the Internet. She loved it so much, so i taught her how to draw in anime. It turned out that i am a pretty good teacher, because she drew quite a good picture of one of the characters in Fruits basket, Yuki (the rat). I drew a cool picture of Hatsuharu (the cow) that i might put on here sometime next week, if my damned social life doesn't get in the way.
Guh, i have got to go back to school at the end of this week. *Shakes fist*

I just found out a few days ago that my father had booked a flight to Vietnam for our family, and we'll be leaving on Xmas eve. It will be totally awesome!! I have been over seas heaps (like, 20+ times) before, but we haven't in a while. The last time we went over seas was to LA America. It was pretty cool, with Disneyland and all that... so yeah.

SB

I got the new SketchBook I wanted on Sunday, and I kept up the tradition of drawing a picture on the second page of the SketchBook so I can look back on them later on. I drew a soldier in his teens with camo-pants, boots, and a black shirt. I thought it looked really good. I might put it on here, and DeviantArt later r when i have the time.
Also, yesterday i did a logo for the blog on paint. I will post it on here later as well.
Over and Out,
