I haven't posted in a while I know. Anyway...
I haven't been able to post in a while because:
1) I have had a mountain of HomeWork.
2) My social life got in the way
3) My computer is being a bitch
4) I got a cold
5) I went on camp.
6)... I just couldn't be bothered.
A few things have happened, but i probably can't recall all of them though... I do my best anyway.
I FINALLY read the entire Twilight series! I read them all in less than a week altogether (Hours in total), and i thought they were fantastic! Although, not quite on the Maximum Ride level, but Twilight is coming at a very close second. I can't wait 'till the movie comes out this November. I am going to see it with my best friend.
Ah, lets see...
I did a PERFORMANCE with my cello in front of about, 400 PEOPLE today with Hoffy! AAAGGGHHH! It was HORRIBLE! I PLAYED HORRIBLY!!!
Ahem.
Sorry, i was really nervous, and i am probably over-reacting, but still... ugh.
AND, next week i am doing a vocal performance with my friend Meg; we are singing Breakaway. Hope i do better on that.
I am not sure if I have said this already, but i'll say it again.
I am going to Vietnam this christmas! I am so exited! We are leaving on Xmas eve.
...
I went on a camp for a while about two weeks ago. Yeah, I got hit in the face by a football. That's right, laugh it up.
Anyway, it was alright, I guess. The food was horrible! I thought I was gonna chuck when i ate the peas... they tasted like... i dunno, bits of mashed paper with a bit of plastic rapped around it. Yuk.
The cooks kept on calling me Chocolate Girl. It was extremely strange.
At least i was up in the mountains, nice and cold! (I love cold weather). And for those people who have read Twilight: It was basically like Forks there! Never stopped raining once.
...I don't know if that's all (probably not) but that's all i have got for now.
So-long!

September
I just realised that two good things are going to happen this September.
1) Aliskevo's Blog- One Year Anniversary!!! 6/9/08
2) The next Inheritance Series (Eragon) Book is coming out!! 20/9/08
So that is pretty awesome! Can't wait.
The only bad thing is that with the book, my brother has to read it first. He is a freakin' fast reader though, he might finish it in a night, but still, NOT GOOD ENOUGH! Ah well.
*ding ding* *ding ding*
The Ice Cream Man!!! Yay!!!
*ahem* Sorry about that, my brother was shouting the above... Let me point out that my bro is older than me.

Hey.
Hey, I have been petty busy over the past week... but I have done this: I made up (for DevinatART) a chapter of Maximum Ride 5.
I flew away from the school. The 'non-evil' one, supposedly.
'Where now Max?' asked Nudge next to me.
'Somewhere to rest I think, like a cave or something.' That was my main priority at this moment. I was stuffed.
'Max?' Fang said next to me. If you could jump in mid air I would of done so, I hate it when he silently creeps up on me. He has been doing it more than ever now, with his new-found ability to blend into the background.
I looked annoyingly at him. 'Sorry. Anyway, he continued, 'do we have a plan at the moment?'
'No I don't think so, no, not at the mo.'
'Okay then.'
We swooped down into a small rock over-hang and built a fire with the matches that Iggy had 'conveniently' with him. I stretched back against the rocky wall, and closed my eyes. 'Max, I'll take first watch if you like.' Fang said.
'Nuh, I'll do it.' I replied, and sat up. I liked staying up, helps you think.
'Kay then.'
'So much for putting up a fight' I thought.
About fifteen minutes later, Fang came and sat dawn next to me. 'Can't sleep.' He said gloomily. 'Kay.' I said, my thoughts were else where.
All of a sudden, a huge explosion of rock and dirt erupted from the side of the over-hang. Angel and Nudge were screaming, Iggy looked frightened, and Fang looked extremely pissed. I looked around for Gazzy; and to my horror, his leg was trapped underneath a large boulder.
'Shit! Fang! Get Gazzy!' I shouted at Fang.
'On it!' he shouted back.
'Move, move, move!' I shouted at Angel and Nudge, 'Meet you up there!' They nodded, and leaped up into the sky.
'Got him!' Fang said to me, Gazzy in his arms. 'Fly up to the girls!' He limped on his leg, as he took off.
I quickly gathered the packs and flew up to meet the rest of my flock; but I heard a shout behind me. Fang!
'Jesus! Fang!' I just got a glimpse of him before the overhang collapsed.
... Do ya like it?

As the title of theirs post suggests, my favourite day of the week is good ol' Thursday! Why you say? Because, this happens:

But my last two Thursdays have been expectationaly good! :3 For one thing, I first realised that the fourth Maximum Ride book is coming out (17th)!!! And yesterday, someone asked me out! So you can kinda see why I like my Thursdays! I will make a poll so you can vote for your favourite day! And you might of also noticed that I have had not enough time to post things, because of homework, etc, well this week is a long weekend so I might get a few more posts in by then. Huh?
I drew this a few minutes ago, and it took about 25 mins. Worth it though. I didn't have a clue who she was, so I have decided to call her Faeya, after a character in my new book I am about to wright. It is called Sintaru. If you wanna' learn more about the book please post something in comments.
I drew this picture on paint by the way (and I have never drawn well in paint i would like to point out). And, I know she is on a slant, but she is leaning on a wall or something, but I couldn't be stuffed drawing one. Well to tell you the truth, I did draw a wall, but it turned out really crap, and decided not to draw it. Heh.

Ahhh, I love my holidays!
I love relaxin' on the holidays, that's when all the good TV shows come on (especially on Thursdays!). Like yesterday, the second series on Heroes came back on!
Oh! I just remembered!
I was shopping at the mall today, and I went into a bookshop, you know, just to look around, and I saw the seventh book of Alex Rider! The new one is called Snakehead, so if you wanna' read it before your friends, I suggest you do it now, because I have only seen it in one shop ( it isn't even at Target, Big W or Myer for all I have seen!).

A preview
This is a preview of my writing skills for my novel:
Right, here’s how it goes:
I gazed out the plane window, and looked out at the beautiful white fluffy clouds of Tasmania.
Suddenly, a magnificent majestic snow-capped mountain loomed out of the clouds, like an island in a sea of white.
It was a beautiful sight.
Please tell me what you think!
Holidays rock!
It's finally holidays! Thank god for that!
Today I saw Rush hour 3 at the movies. It was pretty good, but some parts were a bit fake and unrealistic. But a good movie all the same.
I have just started a new book series Tomorrow, When the War Began. I have started to read it before, when I was younger, but I got into another book before I finished reading it. I am looking forward to finishing it because it has been in my "to read" list for a few years now!

Endangered Classes.
I went to the zoo with my class today; it was pretty fun, being with my friends and all although it was hot walking around in the sun! But (as always) it had to be educational, so my class had to sit on the floor on the Information Centre for about 30 minutes listening to a person yapping about this bird that is endangered, I felt more sorry for me and the class than the bird!
I am now reading the last Harry Potter book again, and to my surprise I am already past half way, after just two and a half days on reading!

Finally...
I have finished the Lord of the Rings series!! What a fantastic book! It is truly a legendary story, I recomend it.
Heres my favourite bit:
Well this is the end, Sam Gamgee,' said a voice be his side. And there was Frodo, pale and worn, and yet himself again; and in his eyes there was peace now, neither strain of will, nor madness, nor any fear. His burden was taken away. There was the dear master of the sweet days in the Shire.
'Master!' cried Sam, and fell upon his knees. In all that ruin on the world for the moment he felt joy, great joy. The burden was gone. His master had been saved; he was himself again, he was free. And then caught sight of the maimed and bleeding hand.
'Your poor hand!' he said. 'And I have nothing to bind it with, or comfort it. I would have spared him a whole hand of mine rather. But he's gone now beyond recall, gone for ever'
'Yes,' said Frodo. 'But do you remember Gandalf's words: Even Gollem may have something yet to do? But for him, Sam, I could not have distroyed the Ring. The Quest would have been in vain, even at the bitter end. So let us forgive him! For the Quest is achieved, and now all is over. I am glad you are here with me. Here at the end of all things, Sam.
